Cleveland State University invites currently enrolled CSU students any major to submit up to four pieces of artwork produced in the 2024- 2025 academic year. The show features awards in a variety of categories, including video animation, sculpture, ceramics, photography, printmaking, painting, and drawing, among others. This project aims to bring visibility and creative expression to the narratives surrounding Black womanhood, motherhood, and wellness through the lens of Afrofuturism—a genre that envisions a future shaped by Black cultural experiences, histories, and innovations.
