Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA)
The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (GCRTA), invites public artists to submit their qualifications for a public art installation at the new E. 79th Street Blue and Green Line Rail Station. GCRTA is seeking proposals for art to enhance the station design. Bidding is scheduled for the end of 2024 with construction starting in spring of 2025. The station’s construction will take approximately 18 months. $80,000 available for public art.

A call for art is NOW LIVE for EMBODIED RESISTANCE: a zine dedicated to exploring and defending bodily autonomy in the now. Transgender, Non-Binary, and Women Artists and Writers living and working in Cuyahoga County are welcome to submit work related to this theme. No application fee. $50.00 stipend. Edition of 500 zines printed and distrubted, plus digitally published.
