City of Cleveland and FireWatch Design are seeking an artist to help bring a conceptual mural design to life at Canal Basin Park, the northern trailhead of the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail. The selected artist will focus on translating a provided design into a paintable mural, with room for artistic freedom within the established style.

Cleveland International Film Festival
Cleveland International Film Festival (CIFF) call for entries is open for its 49th festival, March 27 - April 5, 2025. CIFF accepts films of any runtime, any genre, and from every country, and it continues to be one of the few Academy Award-qualifying festivals in the world for all three categories of short films: live—action, animated, and documentary. Earlybird deadline: September 6. Final deadline: December 20.

Waterloo Arts
Waterloo Arts will select 30-40 artists to create new work for the annual DayGlo show, which runs from March 7 - March 30, 2025. Participating artists will receive a supply of DayGlo paint, courtesy of the DayGlo Color Corp and the exhibit will be displayed in black light. The theme of the 2025 DayGlo Show is "Double Feature, Picture Glo" in honor of DayGlo’s origin story.

Cleveland Arts Prize, with support from the Cleveland Foundation and Cuyahoga Arts and Culture award the (on the) Verge Fellowship to provide unrestricted monetary stipends to promising, developing artists within and across multiple disciplines. Five (5) Verge Fellowships will be awarded annually an unrestricted stipend of $2,000.
