Maelstrom Collaborative Arts
Artists are invited to submit proposals for PORTAL, Maelstrom Collaborative Art's monthly public art series, which features twelve artists throughout the year, bringing free public art to the corner of Detroit Avenue and West 65th. Visual artists of any medium are encouraged to apply with a concept proposal and examples of past work. All concepts should fit within the doorway parameters of 32” wide x 88” x 4” deep. Artists paint/compose their work on a provided hardboard fitted to the doorway. $200 compensation.

Artists are invited to apply to Bricolage, Maelstrom Collaborative Arts' popular mixed media show, August 21-23, featuring musicians, dancers, visual artists, theater-makers, and more! Selected artists will be paired with another artist from a different medium and each pair will collaborate on a new hybrid performance piece (approximately 15 minutes in length).

Located inside 78th Street Studios in the heart of Gordon Square Arts District, EP Studio is located on the lower RAMP level and is a mixed-use space with over 20ft of wall space for artists to showcase their work during a three-month residency. Opening and closings are based around 78th's THIRD FRIDAY Art Walks giving you the opportunity for your work to be seen by thousands across Northeast Ohio and beyond!
