Curatorial Qualifications for 2028 Exhibitions ↗
Ohio Arts Council
The Ohio Arts Council’s Riffe Gallery invites curators to submit qualifications for a 2028 exhibition that celebrates the talent and diversity of Ohio’s professional artists. Proposals should reflect strong curatorial experience, a clear conceptual vision, and a commitment to representing artists from across the state. Selected curators will collaborate with the gallery director to develop a 10-week show and receive a $3,500 honorarium.

2025 Chalk Festival: Featured Artist ↗
Cleveland Museum of Art
The Cleveland Museum of Art will be hosting its Annual Chalk Festival on Saturday September 20th and Sunday September 21st from 12-5pm. Artists are invited to submit their work for consideration as a featured artist. Five artists will be selected to design and create an 8 x 8 chalk drawing live during the festival. Each selected artist will receive one 48 pack of pastels, snacks, water and an honorarium of $650 for their work.

ActLoCLE
ActLoCLE is seeking a curator—or curatorial team—for their second annual online juried exhibition on actlocle.org, showcasing visual art from across Northeast Ohio. The curator will work closely with ActLoCLE’s jurors to review submissions and finalize selections. ActLoCLE will manage all technical logistics, including artist communications and web uploads. The curator will organize submitted artwork, prepare review materials for jurors, and provide a final list of selected artists. They will then collaborate with ActLoCLE to bring the exhibition online.
